Meet the visionary behind Wonder Voyage—Shawn Small. A filmmaker, author, and master storyteller, Shawn established the organization in 2000 and has since guided thousands of pilgrims to over eighty countries. His journeys go beyond sightseeing—each one is a narrative of transformation and divine wonder.

Guiding with grace and insight, Ken Janke draws on over 30 years in business and pastoral ministry. As both Voyage Guide and board member, he empowers individuals and groups to pursue mission, team-building, and spiritual growth with clarity and purpose.

Brent Richardson is both a corporate professional and an intrepid Legacy Director who began his Wonder Voyage story during a youth trip. As a board member and guide, he inspires travelers to embrace the unknown, step into adventure, and discover their own epic stories.

Michael Fleming began as a youth pastor on one of Wonder Voyage’s earliest trips, and has since joined the team as a guide and board member. He currently serves full-time as a pastor in East Texas, committed to animating every location and helping each pilgrim encounter God.

Jamie Richardson leads Wonder Voyage’s communications and Legacy initiatives with decades of ministry experience. She builds bridges between supporters and global service partners—creating pathways for generosity and shared mission.

Meet Dr. Michael Damiano—Boundless Expeditions Director and board member. With years of medical missions and mountain adventures behind him, he crafts immersive, culturally rich journeys that redefine what it means to truly step off the beaten path.

As Operations Manager, Cheryl keeps the engine running—from registrations to paperwork—staff care to hospitality. With decades of management experience and a passion for seeing the staff thrive, she keeps everything working behind the scenes.

A dual degree graduate in History and Sociology, Molly joined Wonder Voyage in 2003 after serving as an Episcopal youth minister. As the Sr. Voyage Coordinator, she trains trip coordinators and infuses every journey with story, beauty, and sacred encounters.

Shane Small brings corporate acumen and cultural passion to his role as Staff Development Director and guide. After discovering pilgrimage in Ireland, he now guides Wonder Voyae into technology that takes us into the future of pilgrimage and service travel.

César bridges worlds. A longtime YWAM leader and founder of Christian translation initiatives, he crafts journeys through Latin America and beyond that are rich in faith, culture, and connection—turning travel into deep encounter.

A veteran educator and youth ministry leader, Susan Damiano transforms pilgrimages into places of faith development. Her passion is helping young people explore new lands—and their own belief—with depth, clarity, and joy.

Adventure runs deep with Brett. Over 25 years in youth ministry and countless trips around the world, he helps young hearts grow in faith through laughter, exploration, and miraculous moments in unfamiliar places.

Having embarked on a Wonder Voyage pilgrimage right after high school, Mike Flickinger now guides voyages with flair, passion, and youth-inspired energy. His trips are animated, authentic, and deeply rooted in personal experience.

Antonio’s life was changed by a high school mission to New Orleans, and he’s been guiding Wonder Voyage ever since. With 25+ years leadership, business acumen, and a spiritually symbolic completion of the Camino de Santiago, he brings wisdom and resolve to every pilgrimage.

John Spencer makes his home in Ireland, where he directs a retreat center and shares his lifelong love for adventure, history, and Celtic spirituality. With over four decades of ministry, John brings a wealth of wisdom and a gift for hospitality. His journeys weave together story, laughter, and sacred community—offering travelers a taste of Ireland’s rich heritage and a deeper sense of communion.

Jordan Jackson began his Wonder Voyage story as a college pilgrim and has since led domestic and international mission and pilgrimage trips. With twenty years in youth ministry, he helps participants see the world—and each other—with open hearts.

Eric invites you to serve, believe, and rejoice on every voyage. With years among the marginalized in over 15 nations and a deep pastoral heart, he brings spiritual passion and vitality to every journey of service.

Georgia answered a call to servanthood after her first pilgrimage. Since 2004, she’s invited travelers to walk with care, compassion, and creativity—especially with those often overlooked. Every detail reflects her deep love for Christ and pilgrimage.

An Episcopal priest serving as Rector in Carmel, California, Laurel Coote is also a certified spiritual director. She weaves faith, nature, music, and travel into journeys that connect participants deeply to the Holy through shared laughter and exploration.
