Summer In Review: 66 Organizations, 17 Countries, 16 US States, Graded 98%

For 23 years, Wonder Voyage have been leading people on pilgrimages and service missions across the globe. We survived Covid-19. But the real miracle came this summer as we created voyages for 66 organizations, including churches, schools, colleges, businesses, travel adventure clubs, and goodwill organizations. 

Every day of the summer was a challenge as Covid, chaotic airlines, shifting economies, heatwaves, late arrivals, lost luggage, and churches that had been waiting for two years finally ventured back into the world. The challenges were significant, but we grew as leaders, learning to pivot and press forward. When we experienced the fragility of our world, we were flooded with joy freely given by the Spirit. 

Your graciousness and love for our Guides humbled us as we led you on your Wonder Voyage to 17 countries and 16 U.S. States. Nine hundred souls seeking the Creator and serving our local partner ministries with over 9000 hours of labor… that’s $215,000 worth of volunteer time! By the end of the summer, we had achieved a 98% grade rating from our teams. When people say, “You have the best job in the world,” I agree.

The world of travel is undoubtedly different now than it was in 2020. We have learned to lean into those changes and create something new and fresh.  We cannot wait to get started with our 2023 voyages.
