Now Available: 3-Day Pilgrimages

3-day Pilgrimages

In its 20-year history, Wonder Voyage has occupied the unique space at the doorway to wonder. Each Wonder Voyage combines the elements of faith, cultural exploration, and community service in a way that promotes transformation both at individual and community levels. Journey by journey, we have watched the impact on students, churches, and neighborhoods.

We have often been asked to create smaller-scale pilgrimages – trips of a shorter length, closer to our client churches, but with the same profound impact. We have also been asked for weekend retreats that serve as preparation steps for our pilgrimage or mission journeys.

For all of the hardships that the pandemic brought, not the least of which was shutting down travel, one benefit for us was having the time and space to really explore what a condensed version of a Wonder Voyage might look like. So, we spent the latter part of 2020 traveling with our minds instead of our feet.

Our 3-day pilgrimages are the result of much prayer, research, and collaboration. Each journey retains the most important elements of a full-length Wonder Voyage: faith, culture, and service; but in a very concise way.  The opportunities for spiritual formation, community building, and moments of wonder continue to be foundational components of the adventure.

Each of our Three Days of Wonder offerings is wrapped in a thematic narrative that allows participants to be part of the story. The journeys can be created as retreats, as training gatherings for future pilgrimage or mission trips, or all of the above.

Here at Wonder Voyage, we stand at the threshold of wonder. We invite you to join us on the journey.
