Wonder-Filled June

Wonder Filled June

10… 9… 8…. 7… 6…

Sitting in the Wonder Voyage office at the beginning of June is like manning the computers at ground control of a shuttle launch. The countdown has started. The buzz of anticipation is in the air. The launchpad is cleared.

With no summer trips in 2020 and only a third of our trips in 2021, we are experiencing the wonder-filled fact that this summer, our 23rd year as Wonder Voyage, will see a 20% increase in trips over our best summer to date.

June by the numbers

Starting the first week of June, we will see:

  • 36 churches with
  • 500 pilgrims journey to
  • 9 U.S. states and
  • 11 countries on
  • 3 continents with
  • 25 Wonder Voyage Guides!

Where is Wonder Voyage headed?

Along with our outstanding Ireland pilgrimages and Camino hikes, we have new trips along the Texas border working with immigrant families, a pilgrimage going to the once-every-ten-year Oberamagau play in Bavaria, Germany, and a pioneer trip to Poland.

New Guides for the journey

We have new Guides joining us this year including:

  • Colby, who runs an adventure travel company to Cuba,
  • Tom, a Lutheran pastor who loves to travel with two decades of youth ministry experience,
  • and Nick, a pastor pioneering a church in Austin who has been traveling with Wonder Voyage since the beginning.

We are “go for launch”

As summer trips begin for 2022, make sure you book your 2023 travel now. Spots are filling up quickly. In the last two weeks, over 100 pilgrims have been registered for next summer.  Contact the office to get started.

5… 4… 3… 2… 1!
