Travel Touchstone: Oddities

I like to pick up little tokens on my travels. Sometimes they are as simple as a rock from the continental divide in Iceland or a caricature from a boy in Cuba who is trying to be a street artist. Sometimes they are something I picked up in a market like the Khan el-Khalili bazaar in Cairo (camel figurine) or the William Wallace statue from Scotland. I like them to be small enough to fit in my pocket, inexpensive, and ideally, something that made me smile when I saw it. I have some in my office at work, some in the car, and some at home. Throughout my days I see these tiny reflections of the joy that traveling brings me.
