Sacred Service: The Job Nobody Wants

Wonder Voyage specializes in planning personalized pilgrimages and mission trips. That means we take your team’s quest and interests to heart, help you choose locations that meet your needs and then plan the journey with your team’s goals in mind. This is true of the service aspect of your trip as well. We believe service isn’t a side note to fill an empty day in the schedule but rather an integral part of your overall experience.

Session 4 of The Way of Wonder focuses on the idea of Sacred Service.

“We tend to define our service by the things we accomplish. These acts alone do not fulfill Jesus’ words to us. We live out the gospel by being near to people: with our presence, with our voice, with our compassion, and with our unselfish service. To love people, we must be willing to be close to them. Our hands, our words, and our service are the words of God to a world longing to hear good news. A world that longs for a touch from the Creator.”

Over the last 20 years, Wonder Voyage has connected with countless organizations around the globe that we love to partner with because of the service they provide to their communities. Whether you are looking to feed the hungry, provide fresh water, rejuvenate a building, interact with kids, or love the elderly, we have opportunities for your team.

What separates Wonder Voyage from most service organizations, however, is that we frequently serve the team that is serving the community. We take the jobs that nobody wants.
