I have been intrigued and awed by flowers since I was a child. Color, shape, complexity, or simplicity – they are a constant reminder of the beauty of creation. Whether their purpose is to enhance the visual world of the beholder, or to feed the insects or birds, or to provide healing, or to keep an unwelcome predator at bay, I never tire of capturing them in photographic form.
