How to Prepare for Pilgrimage Using Free Curriculum
We wouldn’t expect a tee-baller to perform in the major leagues without a lot of growing, developing, and coaching. Nor would we expect a newborn to immediately take its first step. Everything in life takes time and training.
Even pilgrimage.
After thousands of hours preparing for and leading pilgrimages across the globe, the Wonder Voyage staff has learned that the biggest difference between teams who experience true wonder and those who don’t usually comes down to one thing: the team’s preparation.
“The frustration for us is that everyone could be trained and ready,” Wonder Voyage Executive Director Shawn Small said. “But there was nothing available that we could point clients to and say, ‘start here.’”
Until now.
Over the last year, a team of staff members, guides, and writers brainstormed what such a training program would look like.
“We came up with six critical elements that separate good teams from great teams,” Shawn said, “and then we developed a curriculum around those.”
The Way of Wonder curriculum is available for free to everyone who is registered for a Wonder Voyage in 2022. If you haven’t seen it yet, check your portal.
The curriculum is easy to personalize to meet the needs of your team, and it is adaptable by setting.
“When utilized,” Shawn said, “it can ground your team and prepare them for a deeper pilgrimage experience.”
As you go through the curriculum, the Wonder Voyage office is ready to take your calls and offer personalized assistance to make sure you get the most out of it.
“This is what pilgrimage has been missing,” Shawn said. “It is the groundwork for a deep and meaningful experience.”
